Of selfish UoM students!
You'd think people wouldn't find it difficult to follow the simplest rule that underpins civilisation. "Respect and you shall be respected!" - What is so difficult about that?
Well, our fellow erudite university students haven't yet come to terms with that... In fact, they resist it.
So here's one tip for you:
When you go to the library to study with your very own laptop, then please don't take up computer work-stations which you absolutely won't be using.
Although it hasn't yet hit you, others may actually want or, rather, NEED that very same computer.
It's not all that difficult: merely sit at a normal, regular desk which is not equipped with a PC.
And one other thing: why don't the library 'supervisors' tell them off? Could it be that they are too busy chatting on Facebook?

Maybe there should be more computers?
ReplyDeleteYour comment is really beyond ridiculous. Ahjar tmur tinheba!
DeleteDid Mr/Ms Brincat and I read the same comment???
ReplyDeleteMs please. Yes its the same comment we read. It's true there are little computers and there can be more, of course.
DeleteSo it's not just me that gets this urge to go up to them and slap them right across the face? I'm glad to hear that as at this time of year it becomes hard to go to the library and keep a cool head.
ReplyDeleteVery good post!
Those librarians are just useless. They are too absorbed by their computers and yes they would generally be Facebooking rather than monitoring the place. They hardly even dare to silence them when the students would be making annoying noises.
ReplyDeleteOh come on!!!! It could be that they need both the laptop and the pc!!! Infact many times it happens to me that I have to open a document on my laptop and copy things to the computer.
ReplyDeleteI think you exaggerated eh
